Violent prejudice disguised as religion is still in our midst, right here in America, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Mr. Kristoff continues with his report: "What troubled me most about Mr. Hale was not his extremist views, but his obvious organizational ability and talent to inspire his followers. When he was denied a law license in 1999 because of his racist views, a follower went on a rampage and shot 11 people -- all blacks, Asians or Jews."

We believers then should adopt eternal vigilance, not by violence but by rule of law -- through the courts and peaceful gatherings. We shall expose these scoundrels for what they really are -- bigots, racists and hypocrites who have nothing to show but the color of their skin.

Irrespective of legal issues now before the Supreme Court, the faith community should restore some sense by lobbying to end this religious exhibitionism in the public square.

Diplaying the 10 Commandments in Public Places

The real impact of the commandments is only within each house of worship. On the public wall or in a judicial rotunda, their message is as useless as a billboard that reads, "Buy healthy food," without advocating a specific diet.

God is in the details.

. . . . Pushing the Ten Commandments onto public sites divides us, when expressions of religion in public should unite us.

That unity will occur only when these spectacles are moved out of the town square and into the private space of each church, synagogue and mosque.

The Abrahamic Faith

Abrahamism is belief in the one God, creator of the universe. He is the same God of Abraham, Jesus and Muhammad.

The Jews descended from Isaac, son of Abraham by Sarah; the Muslims descended from Ishmael, son of Abraham by Hagar; the Christians spiritually descended from Jesus who came from the lineage of David who came all the way from the descendants of Abraham.

The three great monotheistic religions may differ in their rituals, ceremonies and observances, but they worship the same God, creator of the universe. He is Yahweh, Allah, God.

God is the Ground Force of the universe, Universal Subconscious Mind, Infinite Intelligence, Ultimate Justice, Divine Providence, Final Arbiter.

Scientists have been searching for the Theory of Everything for so long. Don't they know by now that he is the TOE, the Intelligent Designer?

Abrahamists believe in Tanakh, New Testament, and Quran as holy scriptures inspired by God.

At the end of the day, believers will say, I am a Jew, Muslim, and Christiian.
